TRICONEX 系統(tǒng)最大的特點(diǎn)是能同時(shí)滿足高可靠性、高可用性的容錯(cuò)控制能力。為保證系統(tǒng)的高可靠性和高可用性,控制器、I/O 模塊 、通訊均采用三重化設(shè)計(jì)。控制系統(tǒng)可以識(shí)別控制系統(tǒng)元件的故障,自動(dòng)把故障的元件加以排除,并允許在繼續(xù)完成指定任務(wù)的同時(shí),對(duì)故障元件進(jìn)行在線修復(fù)而不中斷過程的操作。任何故障及相關(guān)數(shù)據(jù)被存儲(chǔ)在 NVRAM 中,在 I/O 模塊中任一通道故障,系統(tǒng)保證該模塊能維持運(yùn)行 1500 小時(shí),仍能滿足 TUV AK6 級(jí)。
TRICONEX 安全控制系統(tǒng)是基于三重模件冗余 (TMR) 結(jié)構(gòu)的最先進(jìn)的容錯(cuò)控制器。 TMR 是集成了三路隔離的、并行工作的控制系統(tǒng),并在每一個(gè)獨(dú)立的控制系統(tǒng)中執(zhí)行廣泛的診斷。系統(tǒng)采用三取二邏輯表決方式,提供高度完善、無差錯(cuò)、不間斷的過程操作,不會(huì)因?yàn)閱吸c(diǎn)的故障而導(dǎo)致系統(tǒng)失效。
MP 控制器采用三個(gè)獨(dú)立通道,每個(gè)通道與另外二個(gè)通道并行獨(dú)立執(zhí)行應(yīng)用程序,對(duì)從現(xiàn)場(chǎng)來得所有數(shù)字量輸入 / 輸出信號(hào)采用通過獲得專利的硬件表決器進(jìn)行表決,而模擬信號(hào)則是中間值選擇處理。因?yàn)槊總(gè)通道與其他通道隔離,任何通道單點(diǎn)故障不會(huì)影響其他通道。如果一個(gè)通道發(fā)生硬件故障,而其他通道不顧及它。在此期間控制器不間斷處理的情況下,可方便地在線插拔和替換故障模塊。
系統(tǒng)的使用非常簡(jiǎn)單,因?yàn)閺挠脩艚嵌葋砜矗?TMR 系統(tǒng)的操作與單通道的控制系統(tǒng)是一樣的。用戶可將傳感器和執(zhí)行器連接在單一的接線端子上,只需編寫一套應(yīng)用程序邏輯,剩下的工作就全由控制系統(tǒng)管理和處理了。

CP10 FCP270 P270 The Field Control Processor 270 (FCP270) is a distributed, optionally fault-tolerant, field-mounted controller module. The FCP270 performs regulatory, logic, timing, and sequential control together with connected Fieldbus Modules (FBMs). It also performs data acquisition and alarm detection and notification. The FCP270 connects to the MESH control network via standard fiber optic 100 Mbps Ethernet. The fault-tolerant version of the FCP270 consists of two processor modules. These modules install in adjacent FCP270 slots in a baseplate for high speed communication between the modules. The unique and patented fault-tolerant operation of the FCP270 greatly imrpoves reliability relative to other process controllers. The fault-tolerant version of the FCP270 consists of two modules operating in parallel, with two Ethernet connections to the MESH control network. The two FCP270 modules, married together as a fault-tolerant pair, provide continuous operation of the controller in the event of virtually any hardware failure occurring within one module of the pair.

CP10 ZCP270 P270 The Z-Module Control Processor 270 (ZCP270) is an optionally fault-tolerant, Z-form factor controller. The ZCP270 performs regulatory, logic, timing and sequential control together with connected Fieldbus Communications Modules (FCMs) and Fieldbus Modules. It also performs data acquisition and alarm detection notification. The ZCP270 connects to the MESH control network and FCM 100Ets/FCM100Es via standard fiber optic 100 Mbps Ethernet. The FCM100Et interfaces the 2 Mbps Module Fieldbus used by the 200 Series FBMs and the FCM100E interfaces the 2Mbps Module Fieldbus used by the 200 Series FBMs or the 268 Kbps Fieldbus used by the 100 Series FBMs. Depending on sizing considerations, the ZCP270 can be used with a mix of FCM100E and FCM100Et modules. The fault-tolerant version of the ZCP270 consists of two single-width processor modules. These modules install in adjacent ZCP270 slots in a 1x8 or 2x8 mounting structure and connect to a fault-tolerant connector to allow for high-speed communication between the modules.

COMM15 + FDSI (Modbus, Profibus, OPC, Data Highway +) S61 The Foreign Device Systems Integrator (FDSI) allows a wide range of choices for users to link non-Foxboro devices into the I/A Series system ZCP & FCP 270 controllers. They area available with serial and Ethernet options, single and redundant links, and have approval ratings for corrosive and explosive environments. Communication channels are galvanically isolated for protection. These rugged, compact modules mount in standard, field-mounted I/A Series baseplates side-by-side with other system input/output Fieldbus Modules (FBMs). Like the other FBMs, their communication with the I/A Series system and controllers is through Foxboro's high-performance (100 Mbps/1Gbps), ultra-high availability field network. Each FDSI module can support up to 16 devices to read and write data, and up to 2,000 Distributed Control Interface (DCI) points. Ethernet versions can be fewer, depending upon implementation.

It also interfaces with corporate communication networks. As a multipurpose server running the Windows Server 2003 operating system with Service Pack 1, the model P90 server supports hosting I/A Series control stations, data acquisition and processing related to a broad range of applications, file serving capabilities, and the display of graphics and text. It also interfaces with corporate communication networks.The Model P90 server supports a USB mouse or optional USB trackball, an alphanumeric keyboard, up to two annunciator keyboards, or annuciator panels, and up to four video monitors. The P90 server also supports multiple optional touchscreens. Cluster I/O 200 Series I/O See Chart below for 200 Series part #s The 200 Series Field Bus Modules are the latest generation I/A Series I/O modules. The DIN rail mounted FBM subsystem provides a reliable, high speed communications interface between the host control processor (for example the I/A Series control station) and field I/O sensors and actuators. It incorporates innovative equipment packaging, and the use of fiber optic and/or coaxial cabling between modules to allow local or remote distribution of process I/O points. The DIN rail mounted Fieldbus Modules (FBMs) are compact, high-performance distributed process I/O modules. They perform the signal conversion required to interface the electrical input signals to/from the field sensors to the optionally-fault-tolerant I/A Series control station. Communication between the FBMs the I/A Series control station is via Fieldbus Communication Modules (FCMs), which interface the 2 Mbps module Fieldbus used by the FBMs with the 10 Mbps Ethernet trunk Fieldbus used by the I/A Series control station. The FBMs automatically accept communication from either communication path (A or B) of the redundant Ethernet trunk Fieldbus. Thus, if one path fails, communication is not interrupted.

The Mesh network structure provides alternate communications paths between all stations that allows for faster, more reliable communications. Standard Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) switch technology and components employ the Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol (RSTP) to manage traffic paths and provide a self-healing, redundant network that can recover from multiples faults. Based on open standards, the Ethernet Mesh Network also lowers deployment costs by moving away from expensive proprietary networks to a low-cost standard network that can be easily maintained. This network also provides an infrastructure for information sharing between manufacturing and back-office systems.

On either Windows-based or UNIX-based I/A Series workstations, you can interact with any or all of the real-time plant data, operator settings, process menus, and historical process data available in the system. The multi-window capability of the UNIX and Windows operating systems allows you to monitor the information on a process control display, while accessing other applications as specified by the environment.

The I/A Series Configuration Component (IACC) software offers substantial productivity and quality gains made possible by using its rich set of intuitive and extensible engineering tools for project engineering and lifecycle maintenance. A Control Strategy Diagram (CSD) is developed by first dragging I/A Series blocks from a palette and then dropping them onto an editing canvas. These blocks are then linked together to form a control loop by drawing a line between the appropriate output parameter of a cource block and the input parameter of the sink block. The CSD is then completed by finishing the parameter assignments using each block's property table.
